Jenice Groth, Owner & Consultant of Affordable Wedding Planning, Inc. I am the proud owner of Affordable Wedding Planning, Inc - located in Michigan. Although just over a year old, the business has amazingly taken off to very high heights! I started this business with two things in mind: 1: Being successful obviously and 2: Helping couples to "Save money and gain peace of mind," which is the company's motto. I feel that there are a few things that set me apart from other businesses. For one, I beat competition's price for my state. For another, I offer package prices verses hourly rates to my clients. This way, the client(s) and myself both know exactly what they are paying for and what their total fee(s) will be. I also offer free phone consultations. Affordable Wedding Planning, Inc is a full service event planning company, specializing in weddings. With "full service" in mind, most of my planning fees include start to finish for the event, including unlimited advice and cost cutting tips (where applicable), budgeting help, coordinating, hiring of vendors, etc. I travel throughout Michigan (and beyond - meaning I am also able to plan honeymoons, destination weddings, and more). We also carry invitations, accessories, party supplies and favors, and more with the clients in mind (for their convenience and added affordability). I always offer discounts, especially when a client is utilizing my planning services along with purchasing other things. I truly try to go above and beyond for my clients and I always consider it a privilege to be a part of their special event. Full Name: Jenice Joy Groth This is my full time job/ career. I currently do not have any "staff" but I have some volunteer coordinators and assistants that help me out. I have a college degree in Administrative Business Management (ABA). Before starting the business, I knew that someday I would have my own business and I also wanted to help people in some way while enjoy a career of my own; this business surely has its' rewards in both fields! What really made me think of the "wedding" field was planning my parent's "surprise" 25th wedding anniversary, along with helping family and friends plan some of their own events as well. With limited funds and a short time frame, I must say everyone was impressed with the amazingly wonderful outcome of my parent's 25th wedding anniversary. I started this business a little earlier than I had anticipated but I got to the point where I just needed to "go for it." I am a young, single (widowed) mother of two children. -- Jenice J.
