About Coordinators' Corner

Coordinators' Corner is the creation of Nancy Tucker , President of An Event Extraordinaire, Inc. in Richmond, Va. After years of planning events and conferences for Verizon, she started her own wedding consulting business in 1997 and quickly saw a need to provide a community for wedding planners and event coordinators. Nancy set out to create that community and Coordinators' Corner was established.

Coordinators' Corner is a community web site dedicated to providing wedding consultants, from novices to experienced professionals, a place where they can communicate with and learn from other professionals in the wedding planning and event consulting industry. The Coordinators' Corner has been created to help wedding planners and event consultants advance their knowledge, exchange ideas and learn the ins and outs of the wedding industry. The ultimate goal of this web site community is to assist you in becoming the best wedding professional you can be and help you to become an example of the very best this industry has to offer.

Nancy is a member of the Richmond Chapter of the American Business Women's Association, where she chairs the Events and Fundraising Committee. She is also the Chapter Secretary for the Verizon Telecom Pioneers, which is the community service group for Verizon promoting education and youth. With the Telcom Pioneers, Nancy has also been active monthly with the McGuire Veteran's Hospital serving refreshments to the patients in the Spinal Cord Injury Unit. Nancy maintains membership with June Wedding Inc., Weddings Beautiful Worldwide, AFWPI (Association for Wedding Professional International) and attends seminars as her schedule permits.
